Error establishing a database connection – WordPress
Hello,
my website crashed. It shows only Error establishing a database connection. I am not very skilled, can you help me fix it? Did I do something wrong?

Hi,
this message is typical for WordPress without access to the MySQL database.
Checklist:
- Did you do any changes to the database password before? If so, update the password in the wp-config.php file.
- Did you delete databases before? Your website could be critically broken. Act now and look for a backup. Ask us if you don’t have any.
- Check our WEDOS Status webpage. If there are any database problems reported, it’s our problem and we are already working very hard to fix it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
